A box. A simple geometric form. A box can be many things. A box can bring you ecstasy.....passion....joy in many core shaking emotions. There have been many boxes that have brought me unbelievable pleasure. Right here, my maties, is the most exciting box containing more pleasure that I've had in a very long while. There is nothing finer than a brown box......let's see what's inside....

Shuddering with anticipation....uninstalled, it huts to look at......this brilliant piece of engineered linkage will be slid into my Beastie as soon as humanly possible! A lummox could run a mile in the time it takes me to make a 2-3 change and it's right time something was done about it!! Install to be completed this week with updates on point after some thorough back road nonsense......I can't wait....

Well it be another New Year folks....this crazy wheel keeps on turning....and while from one perspective, we're in a cyclical pattern - slowly moving in familiar territory, anticipating what we think we know as familiar....paths, seasons, people, daily events. An alternate perspective is that this wheel is in constant motion - taking us places new and unfamiliar....challenging....inspiring...pensive....

One of the luxuries of modern life is free time and choice.....and a luxury of a good life is decision of which luxury to pursue...

Choosing a build has been tougher than anticipated. (all photos in this post are not mine....I will add links to their respective websites) For your consideration an mine:  

2001 Subaru RS 2.5 GC8 with full 2008 STI drive train and interior swap:

This vehicle started my love for Subaru's and would be a fitting place to start for a first build. Light, nimble, viciously quick when properly built, and pretty rare.....and you all know my love for rare and unique things.

1978 Porsche 911

I thought I'd be cool to own a car that was created the same year I was born. Even harder will be to find one in the states that rolled off the assembly line the day I was born....

I know very little about this car except that they are a blast to drive and I've been told that every man should own one at some point in his life in order to be called an automobile enthusiast. Let the research begin.
